  1. Notes from the High Priestess

The house blessing ritual last night was incredibly powerful. Joe and Steph have gotten a great start in their new home. Personally, house blessings are one of my favorite rituals. The moment a house becomes a home in the truest sense of the word fills me with such joy. New beginnings should always be cause for celebration.

What we have to work on is the overall length of the ritual. Obviously, this problem stems from the fact that we have to accommodate several different working styles and we are working toward a distinct fusion of Wicca and Shamanism. I already have Wicca 101 classes planned in the future, but I may need to move my timetable up slightly.

It’s rather hard to give “classes” on a format such as Shamanism. I feel the best way to learn is to see and then do. It’s time to have more magickal workings that incorporate purely shamanistic practices. We have not done much of this up to this point and I feel that change is needed.

The time will come when we have new members in our Circle, in order to reduce confusion and chaos we need to build a framework that is clear, concise, and understandable at basic levels with minimal explanation. There are decisions on the horizon. What we chose will define us as a group; this isn’t something to be afraid of, change should be embraced. All living beings change. This is a chance for us to embrace an identity that we are comfortable with until another change is necessary.

The harvest will soon be upon us and what we have grown over the past year, both within ourselves and the Circle will be gathered. Think on how you will use these things for this year and the next. How will what you harvest affect the seeds you plant next year?

    Blessed Be,

    Daniela
